The Complete Guide to Rockman Garage Kits at Winter WonderFest 2026

Wonder Festival returned for its 2026 winter show, and once again the Blue Bomber was well represented.

For those unfamiliar, WonderFest is a Japan-based event where hobbyists sell custom garage kits under special one-day licenses, meaning they’re only available in person during the show. While a few sometimes pop up later on Yahoo! Auctions Japan, expect to pay a hefty pile of zenny. Most kits also come molded in solid colors, requiring plenty of cleanup and paint work to truly shine.

So let’s take a looksie at what all showed up this season!

(Guest post by RockmanHQ)

This builder has steadily expanded their lineup year after year, adding a new Zero or ZX character with each appearance. With this latest release, all four Guardians are finally complete and available for purchase. Joining them are the creator’s earlier works, Prometheus and Pandora. You can check out their work here: https://x.com/zu_mame

Next up are a pair of statues featuring Cinnamon and Ciel. They’re joined by returning figures of Alia, Iris, Iris in her SE Dive outfit, and even a posable Dynamo rounding out the lineup. (https://x.com/Jisaku_Rider)

Keeping up with the Zero series, we have a Ciel statue with her Ciel System flower (https://x.com/hanizou_ade) and a Leviathan piece (https://x.com/dhalio).

Another Ciel but this time she’s joined with Alluette, posing with a Cyber Elf and a plush. (https://x.com/kinarisanto)

Now here’s a curious addition: another batch of 1/144 scale minis featuring various Mega Man characters. They’re tiny, sure—but they’re kind of perfect if you’ve ever wanted to stage a Mega Man piloting a Gundam scenario on your shelf. (https://x.com/vern_lost)

Going oldschool here, a Wily Machine 1, complete with Wily and a 'lil Fire Storm Mega Man. (https://x.com/ShigeQ_Chan)

Next we have a detailed Zero, complete with all the weapons you could ask for!

For the X5 fans, here’s Back Zero and Iris, as well as a Colonel who was only for display. Gonna have to wait for him. (https://x.com/Palipalitoy)

A massive collection on display here, but not everything was for sale. We have a Black Ace Star Force Mega Man, Rogue, Vile MKII, and the display only pieces which will be for sale on a later date, HeatMan.exe, Block Man, and Acid Ace!  You can find more images here: https://x.com/maskedrider666)

There were also several returning fan-favorite kits. Copy X appears here alongside Dr. Light, who’s ready to throw Hadokens, Mac the ever-forgettable Reploid, and even a towering giant Copy X. As a bonus, select kits also include a battle-damaged Copy X variant. Colonel, Super Bass, and Storm Eagle also make their return to the lineup. (https://x.com/hyo_up)

In previous years, this creator tackled Napalm Man from the Battle Network series. This time around, they’ve shifted gears to produce the classic series version of Napalm Man, complete with his Battle & Chase cart for good measure. You can check out their work here: https://x.com/Gandamfullmuc

Now here are some faces you really don’t see every day. Dr. Doppler, Godkarmachine O Inary, and Velguarder all made an appearance at the show—definitely deep cuts for longtime fans. (https://x.com/Giovanniff32101)

A mini diorama of Zero and Ciel (https://x.com/sousaku_biyori), and a "floating" Iris, based on her official X4 key art.

We haven’t seen too many actual Mega Mans in the mix, so let’s fix that. Here’s a Volnutt sporting his Legends 3 outfit—sorry for reopening that old wound, friends—alongside a fresh take on the Glide Armor with a more Triforce-inspired design (and yes, it’s compatible with Kotobukiya kit joints). A chibi X joins the lineup as well, and the Blade Armor makes a return from last year. (https://x.com/HOWSHIH)

Here’s some Legends mini figures based on the Bonne’s Drache and Leopold. (https://x.com/figgeeks) And fit to scale with those small Bandai 66 figures from a few years ago, here’s Tron’s Gustaff! (https://x.com/kikutiba)

A Megamix style Mega Man, complete with an optional evil face so you can make Copy Mega Man! (https://x.com/ma_o_ji)

The Nightmare Investigators arrive! It's Golden Gate and his greatest creation, High Max! (https://x.com/tvOJNprnmkksrid)

Is that Klaymoor? Nah, that’s KnightMan.exe! And as a bonus, Princess Pride! (https://x.com/Kigimi_Craft)

Our first Axl of the show, and it’s a redesign inspired by the Mega Man Zero series!(https://x.com/gary47752)

Dive Armor RiCO and Iris escape from the Deep Log and onto the shelf! (https://x.com/desiglion)

Chill Penguin here has a whole inner frame, which is pretty rare for a garage kit (https://x.com/desiglion)

The show wasn't all models, though. Here are some aluminum keycaps for your X and Z keys, to make them a little spicier.  (https://x.com/kanzakiK_AC/)

That closes the book on this batch of Rockman garage kits. If your wallet’s feeling brave, a number of these pieces usually resurface on the aftermarket—most commonly through Yahoo! Auctions Japan, Buyee, or whichever proxy service you trust.

Just remember, these aren’t ready-to-build like a Kotobukiya kit. They arrive unpainted and demand some serious hands-on effort: pinning joints, heavy sanding, and scrubbing away mold release before you even think about primer. Best of luck tracking them down!

  2. I had a friend who managed to get me the megamix megaman and storm eagle. So it's now a matter of how to go about getting them built.

  5. I would love that Dr Doppler, but I discovered it is unpainted. I suck at painting and would probably mess it up badly.

    1. How much does it run for? Looks like everything is 70 USD at bare minimum
