Back in April, Udon Entertainment announced plans to reprint Archie Comics’ Mega Man series in oversized hardcovers. While pre-orders aren’t open yet, Amazon has opened up a page for the first volume, Mega Man Adventures: A Hero is Built, and confirms it will include a brand-new bonus short story by Ian Flynn and Ryan Jampole.

Volume 1 clocks in at 296 pages and is currently set to release on May 26, 2026. That date hasn’t been officially confirmed by Udon yet, so it could still change.

Knowing Udon that date will not be accurate, the original release date for the X DiVE art book was originally April/May of this year and that's still not out, but the fact it HAS a date is an excellent sign that we will get it eventually! I own the old trade versions but they are, uh... very used.
ReplyDeleteI don't mean to be disrespectiful, but they are launching tons of "volume 1" comics, including special covers and stuff, but then delaying every single one of the products even after people pre-ordered on amazon. I am still waiting fot Mr. Mega Man Volume 2 that was supposed to launch in july. So... is Udon kinda screwing us? I am grateful for the comics, of course, but it seems fishy
