An upcoming and long-anticipated Mega Man fan-lead project takes one more big step toward completion! Designed to celebrate the franchise's 35th anniversary, "Mechanical Heart" is a zine dedicated to the characters and settings that won the hearts of fans the world over. And starting tomorrow, December 17th, it'll be available to pre-order from here.
Mechanical Heart includes pieces designed and illustrated by artists from every corner of the community. To name a few, there's TechNightmaren, fivepaninis, steph_o_dell, WillowRambles and KueLandak to name a few. For the fiction folks out there, expect original works from nadiaoxford, moons0nata and FortunesMarket. Hit up those links for some samples!

What even is a "zine"? a stupid way to say Magazine?
ReplyDeleteIt's an older term for self published magazines. I've never actually seen any myself, sooo I dunno what they were like. But I believe it started with the 90s punk or riot grrrl movement. Could be wrong?
