"Gaea Armor X" Joins Rockman X DiVE

If there's one thing you can bet on, Rockman X DiVE will provide new X armors from time to time. Following Fourth Armor X back in January, the Gaea Armor from X5 is here. It even features the ability to cling to walls like in the original game.

Find all the details after the break!

Gaea Armor X's first active skill is Gaea Shot. It releases a buster shot that will cause huge damage when maximum charge is reached.

His second active skill is Giga Attack. Faithful to the original game, it releases a short range energy blast in front, ignoring terrain.

On top of the ability to cling to walls, judging by the trailer, he is a heavy hitter with the ability to charge active skills very fast. Dashing seems slower than normal and while the trailer doesn't tell us anything about it, it's safe to say spike immunity is in too.

What's more? This week we have a new event called "Strike of the Crimson Assassin". While details weren't revealed in the trailer, we can see the Magna Centipede icon. It's likely to be an event similar to the Beat the Chameleon event, aimed to help players get memories of his respective chip.

Let's us know if you're adding Gaea Armor X to your collection in the comments!

  1. I never liked Gaea much, but this just means we're one step closer from getting Blade and Shadow.

  2. That artwork looks sick! The Gaea armor has always been one of my favorites. Funny that they call it "the most powerful" when it was only a prototype.

    1. In physical strength, maybe. Its a pretty lame armor outside of a few instances.

    3. It would be more realistic to do it yourself.
For what I care, they would literally make X9's plot based around this mobile bullcrap.

  4. Not a single banner about pandora.

  5. What is the point of the "ultimate armor" if this is the "actual most powerful ultimate endgame suplex SSSS rank armor of all time" until the next "ultimate armor" gets released next week?

    1. this is a gacha, they barely know shit about what they do, literal evidence is that they can barely spell the names of the characters consistently, they just throw shit at the wall and hope people jump happy at the wall to lick it clean.

  7. The Virgin Ultimate Armor: Just a recolor of an existing armor, needs unlimited Nova Strikes to be special, can't erase enemy shots without an enhancement part, slides down walls like every other armor, crumbles in the face of spikes.

The Chad Gaea Armor: Has a unique design, shots don't reach the end of the screen so that enemies have a fighting chance, naturally erases enemy shots, effortlessly clings to walls, eats spikes for breakfast.

Disclaimer: this is a joke. Please do not kill.

    1. honestly agreed, ultimate armor is just not fun to use and way too overpowered without having anything unique about it's gameplay

    2. Funnily enough, when I was coming up with that meme comment I ended up realizing just how little the Ultimate Armor actually brings to the table compared to other armors. I mainly just like using it cause I like the 4th armor. :P

    3. I was never a fan of the hover feature... I'm always pressing it by accident.

Gaea I only ever use for collectibles or fighting Rangda Bangda.

Yeah, I can see why people would have an issue with that. Personally I quite liked using the hover feature for certain bosses.

And as for Gaea... yeah, I only use it for collectibles too. I usually don't even bother using it against Rangda Bangda, cause getting through that stage with the armor is more trouble than it's worth.
