Rush Armor Set Announced for Monster Hunter Rise

Following a leak a couple of weeks ago, Capcom finally announced the next Capcom collaboration with Monster Hunter Rise. After the previous collaborations with Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, Okami and Street Fighter, it's Mega Man 11's turn!

Find all the details after the break!

Starting September 24th, a special event quest will be available to unlock a new layered armor set for Monster Hunter Rise's iconic Palamute companion. The set is based on Rush's Mega Man 11 appearance. His bark is straight from the game, too! What's more, drifting will change to "Rush Jet" and the departure jump will become "Rush Coil"!

This is not the first time the Mega Man series and the Monster Hunter series cross paths. Rockman X DiVE, Monster Hunter Explore, Monster Hunter Frontier Z, Monster Hunter Generations, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate and the worldwide hit Monster Hunter World featuring the Mega Man Palico gear to name all of them.

We are very close to Mega Man 11's 3rd anniversary and while we wait for the announcement of new flagship title(s), it's nice to see Capcom still pushing the title in one way or another. Good 'ol evergreen strategy.

  1. Don't wanna be that guy, but monster hunter has been crossing over with Megaman since 4. This is like the 6th crossover after monster hunter 4, Generations, Frontier, explore and world

    1. Totally forgot about them despite having articles in the blog of all the collabs, thanks!

    1. If not, then this game deserves 0/10.

Even a free-to-play knockoff let you the dog.

  3. It still baffles me as to why they're willing to do anything to push Mega Man 11, other than adding much-requested DLC for the game. That makes absolutely no sense. Especially given the fact that they keep adding Mega Man-themed DLC for everything else under the sun.
