Mega Man: Fully Charged Episodes 1-26 Now Available on Amazon

Roughly two years after the show's conclusion, WildBrain and Dentsu Entertainment are finally - *finally* - freeing Mega Man: Fully Charged from the confines of Cartoon Network. Too little, too late? Yes. But this is pretty good news!

Starting today, you can legally download the first 26 individual episodes from Amazon for $1.99 a piece. If you don't mind SD quality, though, they're a mere $0.99.  Grab 'em here

As for when the second half of the show drops, your guess is as good as mine. This was a stealth release without an announcement from WildBrain or Dentsu. So... check back soon?

For the uninitiated, Fully Charged hasn't seen a single, official "home video" release in any region. In the states, the show has predominately been available through Cartoon Network's website, app and video-on-demand via select cable providers. Needless to say at this point, but that very distribution model killed the show. Now anyone can watch it!

I've always felt Fully Charged would fare better on an accessible digital platform. Although the proverbial season 2 ship has sailed (sort of), perhaps now it can attract the audience it so desperately wanted.

A Netflix or Hulu release wouldn't hurt either...

  1. They just set this show up to fail, didn't they? I grew to despite myself.

    1. Technically thats Cartoon Networks fault cause they only wann air teen titans go and gumball and other stuff during the daytime however with certain shows (usually ones that are licensed) they will schedule them AT 5:00 AM, MEANING THAT YOU HAD TO GET UP AT THE CRACK OF DAWN TO WATCH THE SHOW, and it wasnt just for Mega Man they did this with Transformers Cyberverse, and Sonic Boom (a surprisingly good cartoon funny enough), and also Beware The Batman before it was canned. 2. Correction: all 52 episodes are available on Amazon, each set of two episodes are just compiled into a single episode

  3. Me who thought powered up was finally dead and could forget about it:(Does Dragon Ball Z Broly voice) IMPOSSIBLE!!!

(No offense to those who like the show or comic btw)

  4. Desperately needs to be put on Netflix or Hulu (HBO Max wouldn't hurt either). Glad to see the show just a little more accessible, but unless this gets a cult following years later I doubt we'll ever see a home video release :(

  5. This REALLY needs to be free with Amazon Prime if it's going to do anything other than languish in obscurity, especially since the first episode is practically designed to scare away new viewers. Sergeant Breaker Night may have never stopped the heroes, but he at least killed the show before it even began.

The bundling of these episodes is kinda funny because it turns Episode 12 into a whiplash special. It features the cartoon's worst episode (Minus Mini) and its best episode (A Cut Above).

    1. Who in the actual heck came up with "Seargeant Breaker Night"?!

Nah forget Omega, Gate, Duo, High Max, Harpuia, Bass, or Craft SERGEANT BREAKER NIGHT IS DA BESTIEST OF NAMEZ.

    2. Best episode? Whoever came up with the name "Chauncey" and thought giving Cut Man a bowl cut [sarcastic laugh] was a good idea needs a pay cut.

    3. Ice man and his dead eyes and crappy hair

    4. Bah, are those the only things you can criticize?

"A Cut Above" was basically a self-contained microcosm of the potential that Fully Charged possessed. Cut Man’s origin story was great, he used his weaponry creatively, the intrigue Sgt. Night brought was actually interesting for once, the pixel art animation was nice, the fight choreography was great, Bert Wily was awesome as usual; it was the first and possibly only episode I genuinely enjoyed watching from start to finish.

The rest of the cartoon was overall terrible, yeah, worse than even the Ruby Spears cartoon, so the bad parts of that particular episode were more due to all the bad karma the show had built up. Like how it finally confirmed that all robots in Fully Charged are fully sentient. That did nothing to clarify Drill Man’s fever dream of a backstory, plus, since Dr. Light’s dream has always been to make sentient robots, that begged the question: what does he do with himself now? It’s also worth noting that free-willed robots are generally considered to be a bad idea across fiction for practical reasons, which is why Dr. Light sealed X, the world’s first free-willed robot, away in a capsule that spent 30 whole years running him through tests to make sure he would never become murderous.

The Transformers (mainly autobots) would like a word with you same as the droids from Star Wars.

  6. People need to stop acting like Fully Charged was the worst thing ever. It was a harmless enough attempt to have a little fun with Mega Man and try something different. The haters are just mad the show wasn't in an ugu kawaii anime style where everyone has big gooey eyes and high-pitched Japanese voices.

    1. Who said anything about wanting moeblob anime? That's a ridiculous assumption to make - this is Mega Man, not Lucky Star.

    2. I don't think Anon 1 meant anything like that. I recall seeing some people say they the show should have been in anime style or something to that effect.

      Delete
    3. With the way they have worded it, I don't think they much like anime if that's what they think anime is like.

    4. Hi im that weird guy who made dragon ball references while talking about this show, i didn't like it because it was so boring (imo), the characters felt dull, they had that stupid sidekick guy, the artstyle was meh (and no i dont need an anime artstyle, in fact most shows i watch have american artstyles, this show's and comic's artstyle looked generic and ugly as all heck, and the character designs were kind of weird tbh), i avoided the comic like the plague when they showed off the artstyle for it, thought the story looked bad when it seemed they shoehorned in Zero (mah boi) for those reasons and for a few others i didn't mention (like the girl, who i forgot the name of because she was that unimportant, basically being roll but garbage) i just dont l8ke fully charged, you can like it if you want, but i personally despised it.

      Delete
    5. Tiny Proto, you couldn't be more wrong if you tried. That's not what I think anime is like. Nice job jumping to conclusions there.

      Delete
    6. I despise fully charged. It has nothing to do with Anime. It has EVERYTHING to do with it being an absolutely unnecessary addition to an already overly cluttered canon. They slap "Mega Man" on it and we are just supposed to consume. Cause Mega Man. It's NOT Mega Man. It doesn't even have the damn decency of being one of Mega Man's redundant spin offs.

      Delete
    7. Sheesh, dial it back a bit. You act like Capcom has never made anything redundant with Mega Man.

      Delete
    8. Shrap i am anon 2 and i have a question. How does powered up clutter up the canon when its not even in the same unoverse/timeline of the classic games (and other game seties included in said timeline like x and zero and zx) or the battle network universe or the starforce universe? powered up was its own timeline/universe entirely (to my knowledge).

      Delete
    9. Anon 2 here: i dont like battle network or starforce they seem boring and uninteresting to me(just randomly mentioning it just cause).

      Delete
    10. 8:59 Anon, could you elaborate on why you believe people want that style of anime, then?

      Delete
    11. I'm confused as to how the show doesn't look like anime. It's trash either way.

Man of Action fell hard from grace. There were signs of it in how mediocre Avengers Assemble and Ultimate Spider-Man were (honestly they're not as bad as people who were far too attached to EMH and Spectacular Spider-Man say (Ultimate Spider-Man even got a bit better later on, especially when they killed off the shoulder angel and revealed the shoulder devil was Nightmare and he also stopped appearing and a Spectacular stan even said to me that Flash Tomson was handled better in Ultimate) and that's coming from someone who loved EMH) but Mega Man Fully Idiotic and Bakugan Idiot Planet really took the cake.

I haven't seen nor plan to watch Power Players and I am cautiously pessimistic about Sonic Prime at this point...

      Delete
    12. I grew up with ultimate spider man funny enough and crap i still love its action and its goofiness.

      Delete
    13. Tiny Proto, what "style" are you even talking about?

      Delete
    14. I think he meant the style called "moe" look it up on wikipedia

      Delete
    15. @12:23 Anime is a medium rather than a style so I'm referring to whatever the OP of this particular comment chain is saying. That "am I kawaii uguu" stuff; you're getting upset at the wrong person here because I already said that Akira and something like Panty and Stocking or even more normal-looking Azumanga Daioh are worlds apart in actual style.

      Delete
    16. I legitimately don't understand how someone could claim to love anime but imply that anything anime-related people want is going to be something like Kanon, where the "uguu" meme started. I have never seen a single Mega Man fan say they wanted something along those lines.

      Delete
    17. I thought it was "UwU" or is that something entirely different.

    18. @Anon June 10, 2021 at 12:43 PM
Why does Powered Up clutter the canon?
      Here is why.

By people who regularly comment on this websites own admission, Mega Man is a NICHE franchise. This is what it consists of:

      The mainline timeline canon
The Zero series canon/x series canon branch
The Dash canon, which I don't think should be part of the mainline canon but whatever
      The EXE canon
      The alternate EXE manga canon
      The alternate EXE TV canon
The Starforce canon. Which may or may not be related to the EXE canon
      The alternate Starforce TV canon
      The Powered Up canon
      The dozens of Manga canon
      The Ruby Spears canon
      The upcoming movie canon (ugh)
AND this stupid, redundant TV show no one wanted
And I am sure I am forgetting some.

How many goddamn canons do you need to milk one niche franchise? Did we really need ONE MORE UNRELATED TO ANYTHING CANON just as we were trying to get the franchise back off the ground?
      The answer is no.
Do you think you are going to build the general audience, en mass, by constantly making new timelines? You will gain some people to one but not to all. Just because someone liked EXE does not mean they will like the legacy titles. That's how you split a fandom, not grow one.

It's foolish. But Capcom's gonna Capcom.

    19. @shrap

That makes sense but you gorgot the best timeline/canon

THE RIDICULOUS AND PERVERTED BRAZILLIAN COMIC TIMELINE!

      MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

      Delete
    20. @shrap Eh. Cape comics have oodles of timelines from what I understand, and nobody can keep that stuff straight. At the same time, the Mega Man ones are more easily ignorable.

@6:31pm How dare you remind me of that?

      Delete
    21. I'll never let you forget!!! GAHAHAHAHAHA *cOuGh* HAHha...

      Delete
    22. @Tiny Proto
Nice example. Despite all the spin you're led to believe Cape Comics (i.e, DC and Marvel) are going down the toilet at the moment. And let them die, they earned it. They are losing sales hand over fist and there is even talk that they might cease publication.
DC's famous for their constant retcons to attempt to cleanup their cluttered history. Each time making things worse requiring another retcon.

So yea. Let's TOTALLY do that.

      Delete
    23. Me who wants to keep marvel and dc alive: NeVeR GonNa GivE yOU uP, NeVer GonNa LeT YoU DowN etc.

      Delete
    24. @shrap I think you're far more heated about this than I am.

      Delete
    25. I say that nobody can keep it straight because I've had people jump down my throat when I mention Batman Beyond because they think it's not canon. There's an Earth where it is, so a lot of it depends on which universe you're in. There's no one straight canon, and I feel like Mega Man is way easier to keep track of than cape stuff, where it looks like there's either a reboot or a new universe every few months.

      Delete
    26. Now if you're saying you'd rather they focus on only a couple Mega Man series and not spread themselves too thin, I can understand that. I simply don't think "too many canons" is a good complaint considering most of the series have very clear differences. For example, Star Force is very obviously not Fully Charged or MMX.

Though going into that, it's also possible I'm not understanding what the problem is. Not that I like Fully Charged or some of the other series iterations, but being another canon isn't necessarily the problem. I'm more bothered by things like a series trying to incorporate other canon elements in a half-hearted way, like what's her face being Zero in the Fully Charged comic.

      Delete
    27. @Tiny Proto

Ikr i swear they shoehorned in not roll as Zero (and simultaniously make the worst Zero design I have ever seen) for no reason other than fanservice.

    28. Also i think american comics are just becoming a niche genre again i highly dought they are dying (and i certainly hope not i like spider man, batman, transformers comics, spawn, super man, x men, iron man, martian manhunter etc.)

    24. Well i mean technically speaking Leviathan would be as old as X, because the Four Guardians, Harpuia, Phantom, Fefnir, and Leviathan were originally part of X's DNA soul thong, and when X sealed away the Dark Elf said DNA soul split into five pieces, 4 of them became the guardians the fifth staying as X. But hey its just a theory, A GAME THEORY...

    25. Zero's appearance in Zero has always bothered me. I don't mind so much the other characters. But Zero just doesn't look like Zero. There are parts of his design that are ok, and there are parts I will never like.

    26. I felt the same way at first an then eventually it started growing and now its my favorite design (however like i said before i am a zero and zx stan so yeah thats to be expected)

I dont like x series zeroes booblights and recently they draw him with a really angular face that i am not a fan of. Other than those 2 things i like x series zeros design i mean even the brazillian comic made it look cool lol

I hate the faces on those eastern model kits though, they suck, and i wish capcom would give literally anyone else to make mega man modelkits so thst they are affordable and actually exist outside of japan (i think bandai would be better at this considering they make the gundam model kits and figure rise model kits) idk why i started ranting but i did...

      Delete
  8. I consider the guardians to be x's biological children and not clones or copies of him though, mostly because they don't look exactly like him and they don't really act like him either, seriously X was not as stubborn as Harpiua, or as playful as leviathan, or as dark and serious as phantom, or as i guess bloodthirsty or battle ready as Fefnir (he enjoyed fighting challenging opponents such as zero)

Idk why i wrote this, please halp
