With just about three weeks to go before the first issue of Boom Studios' Mega Man Fully Charged hits newsstands, we have two more variant cover reveals.
By way of Scorpion Comics, we have a lovely cover by Peach Momoko (Marvel, DC IDW) and a plain 'ol blank blue cover variant. Momoko's cover offers some clues at who we might see in the first issue: Skull Man (intended to be the comic's secondary antagonist), Guts Man, Blasto Woman and fan-favorite rival Chaotique. These particular variants appear to be exclusive to Scoprion Comics for the time being.
Mega Man Fully Charged #1 goes on sales August 26th, 2020.
Peach Momoko cover is the first one where Fully Charged Mega Man looks good IMO.
ReplyDeleteSo far this is the only cover that even looks good. An yay for lazy blank covers....smh

ReplyDeleteMy favorite cover by far. Feels very true to the show's art style while having its own charm.
ReplyDelete"Fan Favorite"
ReplyDeleteWhen the show gets any fans, I'll be sure to let them know.
I'm already am aware now. Heheheh.
DeleteHilarious. Must of taking you all day to come up with that.
DeleteI have to give credit where credit is due: Fully Charged's Wood Man is easily my favorite version of Wood Man, even if it was most likely a result of a intern accidentally spilling coffee over some of the design notes for Shadow Man and hastily writing in Wood Man's name to avoid getting fired.
DeleteLol
DeleteFinally a cover that doesn't look creepy and obnoxious...
ReplyDeleteThe Peach Momoko cover is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteHoly shit, a cover that doesn't make me want to gouge out my eyes? Well i'll be. fantastic job Peach Momoko!
ReplyDeleteI'll join the chorus here; Peach Momoko's art is great, and is the first cover I've liked so far.
ReplyDeleteFinally, a good fucking cover.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, that Peach Momoko cover looks good too.
beat me to it lol
DeleteSee, now. This doesn't look so bad. If the comic is more like that, then I'll definitely be interested. All that other art and those other covers are just so… generic "super hero." Ick.
ReplyDeleteI'm starting to worry this comic is gonna have more variant covers than actual pages of content...
ReplyDeleteSo... Many.... Variant...Covers!
ReplyDeleteI mean I liked the show and don't think it deserved the hate it got but this is excessive even by comic variant standards.
The variant covers aren't all for the first issue, but otherwise it does seem like a lot to me.
