The official Street Fighter V Twitter announced today that a new Guts Man costume will be released for the boxing character Balrog next month! This is the second Mega Man related costume added to Street Fighter V following the previously released Air Man costume for the character Rashid.
The costume will be available to unlock in the "Extra Battle" mode starting on February 15th! Hopefully we'll see more Robot Master costumes released for Street Fighter V in the future.

ReplyDeleteMakes no damn sense that it's for Boxer and not Zangief.
ReplyDeleteThat actually looks pretty good in the art style of the game.
ReplyDeleteBalrog.... Out of all the characters for that game, they go with BALROG for Guts Man? I personally would have gone with Zangief for the Guts Man costume. Seems to make more sense there, But whatever.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you...
DeleteWhy ? Why Balrog ?! Why not Zangief ? WHY BALROG?!
come on, when will they make a x costume for Ryu.
ReplyDeleteThere are not enough ways to say yes to this. Strange though, I imagine Zangief would have been a more appropriate choice, especially given the version of Guts Man in Mega Man Fully Charged has a Russian accent.
ReplyDeleteI knew Guts Man's ass would show up.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for the Clown Man costume for Bison. :3
ReplyDeleteExcuse you. I think Bison should be SHEEP MAN!
DeleteLove it, just a shame it's on Balrog. Woulda loved this on Alex.
ReplyDeletePeople say Zangief would make more sense, but they're obviously saving him for Top Man.
ReplyDeleteIt would be nice if these weren't unlocked with limited time only events, would rather just earn some fight money in the game to buy them.
ReplyDeleteYou know your right. I always hated DLC but somehow I always ended up downloading it. It would be so much better if you could unlock in game...
DeleteAs a kid, when a game had DLC I always thought I could "unlock" the DLC content somehow...oh how wrong I was.
My issue with some of these costume events is that they are limited time and once they are gone, their gone for good with no way to earn them in game and no option to purchase them either for those that really want them but don't have a ton of time to play. Older fighting games from the 90's and early 2000's had secret characters unlockable in game, I kinda miss that.
DeleteWhy Balrog? Zangief would make a fair bit more sense.
ReplyDeleteIt's Capcom, why would anything make sense?
