Here's a small sampling of the Wily Numbers Instrumental tracks that come with pre-order copies of Mega Man 11. The video above covers Block Man, Fuse Man, and Impact Man themes.
For the uninitiated, these are alternate tracks that play during the game. The only method to obtain them (so far) is via pre-order. So if you've got your copy of Mega Man 11 reserved, these themes will be available to you at launch!
I like the Impact Man music, it's very reminiscent of Guts Man's theme.
ReplyDeleteSoooo much better than the standard tracks.
ReplyDeleteAwesome. From the first few seconds I heard of these samples, I'm glad I pre-ordered this game.
ReplyDeleteWhy they call it "instrumental stage tracks"?. All the track are instrumental aka not vocal tracks. Sounds more like piano tracks to me.
ReplyDeleteIf you get the Japanese Rockman 11 Complete Edition from e-Capcom, is it included as well?
ReplyDeleteYep!!
DeleteAgreed. Judging from what we've heard so far of the originals, these somehow seem to have more character to them. While it's not necessarily bad, I just don't think that overly generic synth sounds play to Mega's nor the composition's strength.
ReplyDeleteGonna be honest, I am sick of these mellow generic violin, piano and soft drum remasters Mega Man and video games in general are found of making.
ReplyDeleteComposition I alright though.
These are pretty cool. I'd love to hear these songs being played live. Personally, I was hoping they'd do a full 8-bit remix of the MM11 soundtrack, but I can live with this.
ReplyDeleteI love these tracks, give us more! 8-bit, rock, fanmade; I'll buy every one of them.
ReplyDeleteImpact man theme sound absolutely neat.
