Check Out the 15-Minute Mega Man 11 Analysis From GameXplain

GameXplain (with a little help from my friend Ash Paulsen) posted a 15-minute in-depth exploration of all the footage and screenshots we have so far on Mega Man 11. It's pretty neat and points out a lot of little tidbits you might have missed. For example, the immediate presence of the Special Weapon gauge from the get-go may suggest Rush's abilities are available by default. In other words, there might never be a need to switch to Rush specifically.

All in all, there's some interesting stuff going on here. Kick back, relax and give it a watch!

  1. Sweet game looks to be my favorite just from the small amounts I've seen of it from the classic series.

  2. Seems like those gears under the bars might be part of DLC extended feature (Star Force armor and so on) or maybe nothing to do with dlc at all but just an unlockable feature, because there was a gear-like item that could be acquired as shown in the video.

If we look closely at the gears, it looks like a sad Servbot with a big gear slapped on his forehead (hinting at Legends 3 or maybe just a homage or maybe there is a Legends-based unlockable armor too?).

    1. Im guessing it will be something like that armor or other for each iteration of megaman to change up play style?

  3. You know, a lot of people have been wanting a "one-button Rush/utility item" system for a while, now. If Capcom actually made that a function, I know more-than-a-few people who would be pretty happy.

And, yes, I am one of those people. Hee hee.

    1. Hey Joseph what did you think of the fangame contract idea?

  4. If we get to play as Protoman and Bass...even if it is DLC, this is shaping up to be my dream Mega Man game...and on the Nintendo Switch, with the other 18 friggin Mega Man games releasing next year....2018 looks like it is going to be heaven for Mega Man fans

  6. Hi Protodude it's P-Star7. Could you please at least do some sort of community outreach thin for what I'm about to say? I really need help and exposure for getting Capcom to officially acknowledge fan games and not lie by saying that they're not permitted to be made. It boils my blood to think that they can lie like that and nobody minds because at least they're not like Nintendo. We need the truth to be revealed in company and fan interactions so that we can be more at harmony with Capcom and vice versa.

    2. Stop trying to poke the bear with this. They have not gone after anything important, as MegaMaker and 2.5D are still up. If you keep calling for attention and X Corruption gets shut down, you're going to have a mob on you.

    3. I have it on good authority that Capcom are fine with fangames as long they are not for profit. Nowhere have they said it is not okay to create a fangame. You're very much welcome to.

As for official recognition and promoton, that is very unlikely at this time.

  7. Hey Protodude I have a question. Could you please post something about getting fan games legalized? This lie by Capcom that they are not permitted is odious and should not be tolerated by any of us.
