Here's the Animated Trailer for Sonic & Mega Man: Worlds Collide

Following a few technical hiccups, IGN has at last uploaded the animated teaser for the Mega Man/Sonic the Hedgehog "Worlds Collide" crossover. Almost feels like a video game trailer, no?

The crossover event kicks off with Mega Man #24, in stores tomorrow. If you subscribe by mail, your copy should be in your hands right now!

  1. Do you think they will compile all the issues into a single book once all the parts are done? I don't read much comics and so I wasn't sure if I wanted to subscribe to 3 different comic books...

  2. I'm not sure about a single book, but they're compiling it in parts. TPB vol. 1 is up for preorder now, actually.

No however they will compile the story into THREE books so that's kind of what you wanted just more to lug around.

  7. Nah Anon 3. "Super Mega Man" is already the shorthand name for Mega Man in the MM7 hybrid Jet-Power Rush Armor. So that'll probably Hyper Mega Man or.. Super Super Mega Man.

  8. I have emitted a high pitched fanboy squee and I am not ashamed. That was just pure awesomeness poured into my eyes.

You called it. That was the whole point of this little advertising stunt masquerading as an epic literature event.

To sell graphic novels - That's where the real money in the comic industry exists these days.

Beneath the Comics Code Authority logo, they should add the word "SUCKER!".

  11. It'll probably be Super Megaman still.

Hyper means Super Emeralds are involved.

  12. The question here is did Mega Man turn super or did Rush turn super and Mega Man is just combined with him? Because I could really go for a Super Rush.

  13. Hyper Mega Man is the one from Marvel vs. Capcom, the Mega Man + Rush + Eddie + Beat combination.

That must be "Super Super Mega Man", so super that he is named super twice!

    Or Mega Super Mega Man???

  14. I don't know about that HyperSonicEXE. Tails can only manage to go Super with the Chaos and Super Emeralds. I'd wager on the prefix being Hyper. Unless the Rush fusion is caused by Chaos power.

Well, not "Legit" Hyper, anyway. And yes, Tails only turning Super does cause a downward adjustment where the names aren't exclusive.

But yeah, we're talking about a fanon that makes Chaos avatarization, Turbo forms, etc.
