Rockman Solitaire Now Available In Japan

The first "new" Rockman game of the year released in Japan today: Rockman Solitaire. And well, uh, there's not much else to say than that, really. It's solitaire with a Blue Bomber twist! Rockman is the King, Roll the Queen, and Blues the Jack.

Like Rockman Sprite Logic before it, the game is flash based with no additional fees. Simply throw down a cool 315 Yen and it's yours. For a bite sized puzzle game, I have to admit that's a pretty kickin' pose of Rockman there. Sprite rippers, you've got a job to do!

  1. All in all, it's still pretty much a Megaman game. Hopefully it's a better sign of things to come.

  2. Lame. I hope it sells like crap. Because that's the amount of effort they put into it.

  3. Gentlemen. Let the pissing and moaning commence! :P

That's a kind of spiffy Dr. Right logo. I still prefer the one from Right and Wily's RockBoard: That's Paradise!, but that seems to be just me... Heh.

  8. Sigh... why are they wasting time and resources on stuff like this?

That's right, I have a negative opinion about this, so sue me.

  9. It's funny how people are taking this as better things to come just because it's a game. LOL!!!!!!!!!!

  10. @Anon1: No it's not. It's solitaire. Just with megaman cards.

Now, to be fair, I'd love a megaman themed deck of cards in real life, though I don't want it restricted to classic. It'd be cool if it had stuff from all over the franchise, you know?

I don't normally get merchandise, but that's something I'd make an exception for.

You ever hear of the phrase quality over quantity? Well, Capcom apparently see's it the other way around now.

  12. Port 'em all, Capcom. One big set for Android and iOS. It can be done if you try. It'd sell very well.

  13. I can't believe Capcom could put Megaman in such levels. What did Megaman ever do to you to deserve this kind of treatment. After serving Capcom for years, they end up canceling the best games in the history and replace it with this shit.

  15. I am a fan of Rockman/Megaman since 1996, but it's been so long since Megaman don't get awesome games, and I mean TOP CONTENDER AWESOME GAMES, games to rank with Zelda, Mario, Metal Gear and stuff like that, but no... instead all we have are just handheld games or poor excuses for nostalgia (9 and 10). Look, i was never a big fan of the Legends series, so i never really cared for Legends 3 cancelation, Universe looked like crap and nothing more than another downloadable nostalgia crap excuse, in the end i didn't care for that being cancelled either. So I am actually coming from a different perspective than most of the regular complaning.

Remember 1997? Remember the 10th Anniversary? Megaman 8 was a good game in it's own way, not a classic like 2 and 3, but at least they tried to keep on par with others series going further at the time, instead of going back (9 and 10 once again). And of course one of the best games of all time was released for the 10th Anniversary, Megaman X4! Possibly the best story in all the games in the series, and a great addition by allowing the players to use Zero. NOW THAT WAS A GOOD ANNIVERSARY!

Look at the 20th... just... a nostalgia crap...

Look now... the 25th.... just a super-duper-solitaire and the overused-not-even-that-funny joke about the USA cover of the original game on NES...

I rather go play Ratchet & Clank. That's how a proper 3D Megaman game should play like, and not another Legends title, this series was fine for the time, and at least they tried, but Legends 3 would be an instant $hit at this point in time. I wanted to see something fresh you know... Oh, I know! Clover should do a fresh and great 3D MEGAMAN GAME!..... nah... sorry, I forgot Capcom dump Clover staff after making such "abominations" like Viewtful Joe and Okami......

And finnally, Capcom are such greed bastards, today they are the most greed disgusting pigs on japanese gaming industry. They don't deserve a single penny from my pocket. The point is, even if they make a balls-out-awesome Megaman game at this point...they will probably fill it with DLC and crap like that, because they are childish moneygrabbing pricks... I DON'T THINK I SHOULD EVE CARE ABOUT THE SERIES ANYMORE!

At last, let me tell you about the feeling I have right now, the thing that really brokes my heart as a longtime fan. There are the sheeple dipshit that will eat anything remotely related to Megaman, even if it's a literal blue fecal cobra and smile like a retarded hyena, saying people "bitching and complaining" aren't fans enough! Now that is enough for me... I really can't take that anymore... being a fan is way more different than being a delusional fanboy with no sense of criticism whatsoever...

WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE CRAPCOM? I'M OUTTA HERE, PICK UP THE SERIES AND YOUR GAYASS FANBOYS AND SHAVE IT UP YOUR BUTTJHOLES!

We get it, You didnt like Universe. But clearly, Your opinion is the same as everyone elses, correct? Clearly that is the answer. You believed Universe was shit, so to everyone else it is too, right?

The world doesnt revolve around what you think, douche. I liked Universe and many others did for various reasons.

    Good for you, then.

Please point out where I ever said anything even remotely similar to this.

  20. We should find a way to harness internet arguments and sell the energy for money so we can hire our own dev team to make Dash 3.

The majority of fans and gamers alike didn't like what Universe was and what it had to offer. It seemed shallow, seemed like another tribute to Mega Man 2, had a lackluster stage creation system, had a rather odd art style. It just didn't sit well with enough people to happen.

I'm not trolling. I'm by no means trying to antagonize anybody for liking that piece of crap. I know people are entitled to their own opinions and everything, it's just that I couldn't help but laugh after reading the particular sentence that I quoted in my first post.

  23. I never cared for Universe like i said before in my post. But it still stand as another brick in the wall in the collection of Crapcom being total assholes. They don't release a proper title for the series since when? Since X8? But now... not even simplistic downloadable (more like hacker) games?... Instead, now we have a solitaire?... aaaaalright! now that was my dream, a solitaire game!....

I'M SICK AND TIRED OF SEEING MEGAMAN DIE YEAR AFTER YEAR LIKE FKING MIKE TYSON!!! SCREW CAPCOM, GET AWAY FROM ME YOU SOULESS MONSTER MONEYGRABBING BIATCH!!!

  24. Yes, it will sound repetitive, but i got to start this before it's too late...

Don't buy into this retro/nostalgia stuff, it's everything they want, little effort into making the games and yet, everybody will buy it!

Megaman 9 and 10 were perfect for them, those were mimic games and they fooled almost all the fanbase with that. And they probably will again, because that's the only thing I see coming in this 25th anniversary, another 8-bits/retro excuse, whoooray!...

Let's show those guys we are not sheeple (sheepman) and avoid those games and maybe everything CAPCOM related!

And before i forget... FUCK DMC AND SOLITAIRE!

Basically what you said was "I'm not going to insult you for hating that piece of shit". That's an insult in itself.

But, Of course, why do I bother? You clearly dont learn.

  29. @Kips:

An insult to the game? Yes. To the people who like it? No.
