Not laugh out loud hilarious, but, hey, it's pretty cool to see Mega Man 10 getting some mainstream exposure. Actually, this won't be the last of Mega Man on MAD. A commercial for this coming Monday's episode shows Mega Man standing in as a judge for "Gaming's Next Top Model" -- a spoof of, well, America's Next Top Model.
I've seen the spot air about four times now every couple hours, so if you've got CN, tune in and see if you can catch it. That episode airs February 28th, 2011 at 8:15PM PST, with reruns scheduled throughout the week.
Hopefully, someone will record it!

Not gonna lie, when I first saw the thumbnail, i thought it was going to be a lame joke that wouldn't make me laugh. However, I was suprised when I chuckled at the SF4 and NSMBWii jokes.
ReplyDeleteBit dissapointing we don't have this in AmericaJr. Or Adventure Time. Or regular show (Man, teletoon is slow on the uptake.)
The last time I tuned in to Cartoon Network was to see the last episode of Pokemon Diamond & Pearl, and record movie #13. Other than that, I have no reason to tune in to that channel, especially during that "CN REAL" nonsense.
ReplyDeleteCN is great, these days. Adventure Time, The Regular Show, Flap Jack.
ReplyDeleteI sure you saw this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ker_S8Y-VQc . Maybe not, well it's awesome how a video of Megaman 1 and 2 get 46th Most viewed on Youtube. I don't know all the glitches of these games, so I'm not sure if these were already discovered or real.
ReplyDeleteI only watch CN for Adventure Time and Flap Jack these days.
ReplyDeleteWhat about Robot Chicken?! That's the only time I tune into that channel now. Every Sunday at 11:45 PM lol. So sad...
ReplyDeleteI came for the Mega Man 10 spoof but stayed for the whole thing. Color me impressed.
ReplyDeleteI love CN. Been one of my faves ever since I was like 3.
ReplyDeleteIf you consider being on Cartoon Network "mainstream exposure", then you've got your wires crossed.
ReplyDeleteNobody watches that wasteland anymore. MegaMan gets more exposure when clips of the games are shown on the Angry Video Game Nerd's show.
Prof Mega Man:
ReplyDeleteAVGN is watched only by a meager amount of people. CN shows are watched by like MILLIONS... kids, mostly, yes, but children who haven't even heard of Mega Man are seeing this. That is mainstream.
Not really all that funny. Then again, this is Cartoon Network of the 2004-NOW era, where GOOD cartoons get thrown to the wayside for stupid live-action crap.
ReplyDeleteWow the cartoon is a Jorge R. Gutierrez desing....
ReplyDeleteFinally someone posted this. I saw this a while back but never found a video of it on the net to share. I was just casually watching and then it came on...I was like, wow. How bout that? lol
ReplyDeleteMeh, cartoon network was way better when it had toonami on the air. Now were stuck with the live-action crap.
ReplyDeleteI have to find a way to download this show into my brain... I looked up a few of the shorts on Youtube after watching this. It's... like Robot Chicken's red headed twin. It's pretty darned amusing. Thanks for the heads up about it! :D Don't have the patience to watch Cartoon Network anymore, but I'm going to keep an eye out for DVDs.
ReplyDeleteIt'd be funnier if it were actually funny.
ReplyDeleteI really love Regular Show, Adventure Time, and Sym-Bionic Titan, but MAD is a terrible and unfunny show in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteMAD is just annoying in all regards, and nobody in any age group I know actually likes it.
The SF4 and Mario jokes were funnier. Maybe the MM10 one would be funnier if it was with Sheep Man instead, becoming a wool ball?
