I was hoping for RockMan Zero since I like that artist's style and he seems to be more at home in a fighting game (though maybe that's just because he's BEEN in fighting games...). But Irregular Hunter Zero is good too. It's cool to see another RockMan character.
Nope, no more needs to be said. I am so happy that they did him justice, especially having the X series version. He seems pretty powerful too! Ultimate All-Stars is now an Insta-Buy for I!
Wait... Scratch what I said, guys. We DO have an uneven amount of characters right now. We're due one more Tatsunoko character. The website leaked "Yatterman-2" so maybe IGN is just incorrect by stating "final."
1) Zero looks friggin' awesome in this! Now I HAVE to buy this. 2) @Fabiano: Not sure if this is what you mean, but this version of the game is losing some fat guy from the Tatsunoko side. If anything, Yatterman 2 (or Joe the Condor, or Tekkaman Blade) is his replacement. 3) @Seiko: IGN is wrong. The ESRB said that the character count caps at 26 (unless, for some strange reason, they count the final [and unplayable] boss, Yami). We have 25 revealed. That means that we still have one more character due.
to those that think this is zero's first appearance in a fighting game, SNK vs Capcom: SVC Chaos would like a word with you. Copy zero from the MMZ series is playable, and considered to be in the top tier (aside from athena, who is in god tier, and no, that's not a pun.)
to those that don't have a wii, it's only $200 now, so just save up. you can get this, tmnt smash up, smash brawl, smash melee, twilight princess, countless mario games... oh, and there's a good few fighting games that can be downloaded to it. worth the cash IMHO. oh, shoot. forgot to mention, METROID PRIME TRILLOGY. if you ain't got a wii, there's no better time than now. especialy with this coming.
oh, and at best guess, for the sake of argument, mega man x7 can't have taken place yet. for that matter, x6 is debateable. because zero still uses the wave style saber, that he lost at the end of X5.
Yay its Zero from the X series. ^^ Zero is quite strong or that person play was really good. I can't wait for this game now ;.;
ReplyDeleteIndeed, words can not describe the awesomeness of Zero in a fighting game! Dark Hold with giant saber finale was cool.
ReplyDeleteOMG! Maverick Hunter Zero! YES!!!
ReplyDeleteHmm, this makes me almost want the game...
ReplyDelete....
ReplyDelete*explodes*
I had no interest in this game what so ever before, but I may just pick it up for Zero XD~
Anyone know anything about the level of difficulty for this game? Like MvC or SNKvC:C kind of hard?
Augh! I just realized this is for -WII-. There go my chances of playing it.
ReplyDelete*dies a little inside*
This game couldn't get any better now, could it. Zero is a so like a motherfucking badass here.
ReplyDeleteI really see this game selling like hot shit everywhere.
Dante may not have made it in; but it looks like one of his attacks did... Zero with a giant "Stinger" ftw.
ReplyDeleteZero from 21XX with that finale! I'll be damned...my team suddenly has a change of plans...!
ReplyDeleteLooks like I'll play Zero a lot...!!

ReplyDeleteX Series Zero.
ReplyDeleteAwesome.
Especially since he fits in better in this game compared to MMZ Zero.

ReplyDeleteWonder is Lucas Gilbertson will be voicing him for the american version. Hope so..
ReplyDeleteFunny they gave him moves like Ryuuenjin and Dark Hold though, but still really cool. And having Okiayu do his voice, great choice.
ReplyDeleteNow I have to get this game... again ;_;
*O*
ReplyDelete*kyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa*
We need more X series characters.
yesss zero look so good !
ReplyDeleteit's not a new action rockman game but wow I will buy this game for sure
YYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYY!!!!! /collapses
ReplyDelete- Awesome to the max. However, there's a question: what character is being replaced after all? Got it?
ReplyDeleteYeiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, its the original Zero, I can´t wait for the game. :D
ReplyDelete@Fabiana: We already got the extra character. We've gotten three new Tatsunoko's, two new Capcom's. We're done.

Irregular Hunter Zero!!!! This one is happy!
ReplyDeleteOkay, now I absolutely want this game! This is the first time I've ever seen Zero in an official Capcom game.
ReplyDeleteFinally! THE Zero! I just need X for another future update, then I'll have my ultimate team!
ReplyDelete*pant pant* I can't breathe....Finally MMX Zero gets an incarnation in a fighting game. FINA- *faints*
ReplyDeleteyeees zero confirmed love his specials and also if what i saw was correct was did he do a charged busteR????
ReplyDeleteRyuuenjin & Dark Hold? That's boss.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of that old Marvel VS Capcom 3 April Fool's hoax.
ReplyDeleteI already know who my mains are gonna be :D.
ReplyDelete.... Suddenly I have the urge to use my wii for the first time within the last two years...
ReplyDeleteif I get to play this game, Zero will be the 1st 1 I ll try, love the finisher with the Z saber like the 1 from the Zero series :D
ReplyDeleteIsn't that the same Zero's mesh which appeared in X7?
ReplyDeleteLooks gorgeous. Wonder what his story path will be, lawl.
ReplyDeleteOK, so far from his moves we have seen what looks like...
ReplyDeleteZ-Saber
Z-Buster
Ryuenjin(X4)
Hienkyaku(X4)
Dark Hold(X5)
Hadangeki(X7)
Tenshoha(X8)
possibly some others too. Should be something from X6 as well since they have X4, 5, 7 and 8
I wonder how his ending will be? Tatsunoko characters join the Hunter?
ReplyDeleteZero & Volnutt vs. Roll & Frank West:
Frank using the Mega Buster on Zero and the Servbot on Volnutt would be great!
Sweetly freakin' epic.
ReplyDeleteX-gasm at its finest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI CAME Z-SABERS
ReplyDeleteZero!!! In TvsC!!! The S-Class Maverick Hunter ZERO!!! MEGA-AWESOME!!! It makes me playing him and Megaman Volnutt!!! :D
ReplyDeleteHoly moly Batman, it's the ropliod in red. . it's ZERO!!
ReplyDeleteAbout damned time X series got some love in a Capcom VS game!!!! (Even if it's Zero.... again.)
ReplyDeleteI is Happy. Frank West and Zero FTW. ^_^

But he uses a move from X8 (Tenshouha), so X8 has taken place and Zero just didn't use a straightener and the likes.
