Shopping In Rockman 9, Items Revealed

These Rockman 9 updates won't stop will they?

Capcom's Official Rockman 9 site has updated with info concerning Dr. Light's Lab, the area of the game where Bolts are redeemed for items and abilities. (left button, second row) Currently, a translation of the shop's contents does not exist, but we can make out the usual suspects: E Cans, M Cans, 1Ups, Spike Chip, Guard Up and the ever popular Energy Balancer are all returning in Rockman 9.

UPDATE:

Small translation provided by Chris:

"The Roll icon is "Costume" which I'm assuming allows you to "play as" characters like Roll and Protoman. The little book is "Hair-style Book" which probably let's him make sprite changes to just his hair, and the 1/2 icon is "Guard-UP" which halves damage."

UPDATE 2:
Reploid20xx has provided detailed descriptions of each item:
1UP (020 Nuts)
Increases the amount of Lives by 1.

Energy Can (030 Nuts)
All life energy is restored.

Mystery Can (050 Nuts)
Could restore either Life or Weapon Energy. Also, something mysterious might happen?

Eddie Call (050 Nuts)
Only usable once, this calls Eddie. He will give you the items he carries.

Beat Call (050 Nuts)
A single use item, which allows Beat to rescue you when you fall down a pit. Because it’s only usable once, you need to be more careful.

Energy Balancer (100 Nuts)
This convenient item will allocate Weapon Energy to Weapons that need it.

Guard Upper (100 Nuts)
This item will cut damage to Rockman in half.

Shock Guard (050 Nuts)
Rockman is protected from instant death upon touching spikes, but only for one time.

Costume (200 Nuts)
Seems to be Roll-related. The description literally says “Let me show you my outfit!”. I’m serious, it does.

Hairstyle Book (020 Nuts)
The description seems to say “Boys are also fashionable, once in a while!”. I guess it’s for Rock. It must be the Helmetless mod from Rockman 1~6 Complete Works’ Navi Mode.

  3. I did my own article on this, with a rundown on the item list. It's available here.

  4. Wait... so you can't purchase the slide? Does that mean there's no slide in this game period?

Because I think that's going a bit TOO backwards.

  5. Great spoiler, Capcom. I disagree completly. The game continues lacking its "magic" due to the massive spoiler. What surprise will I play when it releases (*if* releases)? :(

  6. No slide still has me feeling blue. But the Costume icon makes me giddy.

  7. "Let me show you my outfit!"
Uhhhhh...... okay.....?!?!? That just might be one of the worst lines in all of Rockman/Megaman.

  8. How is this a spoiler fabiano? This is like something that would be in the instruction booklet. And it's not an RPG that relies on it's story and surprises. We are surprised in action games not by the story and features but by how the game challenges us.

  9. Just a suggestion, the currency is actually Bolts not Nuts. I mean, come on.
