"Shovelware: Derogatory computer jargon term that refers to software noted more for the quantity of what is included than for the quality or usefulness. The metaphor implies that the creators chose the content material indiscriminately, as if with a shovel, rather than hand-picking quality works."
This definition is what the enigmatic "Surfergirl" used to describe the mysterious Wii Rockman title.
Unlike recent high quality Rockman games as of late, (Rockman Rockman, Irregular Hunter X) the Wii Rockman apparently lacks quality, joining the ranks of the hundreds of low quality third party games on Wii. Wonderful.

Oh great... They don't even live up to the hype generated with the last batch of rumors... How unexpected... Capcom, you threw Rock into that bed of spikes...
ReplyDeleteDid someone say which series it was, or if it was a multi-series game? o.o;
ReplyDelete@Vixy, nope never specified! :(
ReplyDeleteIf it has to be a random slap together job, then please be Irregular Hunter X and Rockman Rockman one one disk... My hopes have been deteriorating lately with the lack of decent Rockman and if this turns out to be true, I'll be very sad... :(

Rockman Wii became mega man 9. Mega man 9 is loved by fans and they want nothing else except 8 bit mega man. Then mega man 11 came along with the 2.5d style and will hopefully turn out to be good?
ReplyDeleteI think Rockman Wii wasn't really 9, I could be wrong though.
