It's impossible (...ah, megaman fans, so picky!

It's impossible (or virtually so) to make a megaman film simply becayse, while some things look cool in a game/ cartoon, they tend to look less impressive in a movie. There are some things you just can't adapt into movies, or if you try to, the result's something ridiculous (see Dragon Ball).

The main difficulty for a megaman movie would be getting people that actually look fine in some armor, and coming up with the armor, because no way will I see a movie with grown guys in it wearing briefs.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4080026879350344019.post-10939022189675387762012-04-04T18:05:55.296-05:002012-04-04T18:05:55.296-05:00This is interesting, but I have a hard time apprec...This is interesting, but I have a hard time appreciating it because it conradicts a fundamental aspect of the story. In the first game, Dr.Light tells X "I gave you the ability to choose your own path in life, and I hoped the world would allow you to choose a peaceful one." Dr.Light didn't design X to be a fighting robot. Even Zero contrasted Vile as a machine created for war, whereas X was not. That's completely different from this movie where Light comments on X's fighting potential.

Anyway, nice effort.Dhylecnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4080026879350344019.post-62245920972437416672012-04-04T16:33:32.645-05:002012-04-04T16:33:32.645-05:00If people are making their own Megaman films, I...If people are making their own Megaman films, I've got a lot less to complain about! He says in the disclaimer that he knew Protoman wasn't in the X series, and it was a training sequence anyways, so it doesn't matter. I thought it was a wonderful breath of fresh air and for just a low budget, I thought it was done exceptionally well. Great job, Olan! Hope to see a full movie someday!Chadidasnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4080026879350344019.post-23202229046309474412012-04-04T03:48:02.502-05:002012-04-04T03:48:02.502-05:00@ZeroX-Sayoran

The only complaint I may have is the lack of the red crystal in X's helmet and Proto Man's costume, but it's an aesthetic complaint. Overall, this movie was well made (considering the budget), and I actually enjoyed. It makes me even wonder if what he could've done with an even bigger budget.

Now the question is: why doesn't Capcom make an official film?
