  1. I'd like Axl to complete my hunters. Or navigators. Stop with recolors!!!

    1. Recolors are easy money, so we'll definitely not stop seeing those. I'd definitely expect a black Zero variant, and some other X recolors, maybe in armor, with some exclusive effects parts. Kotobukiya is all about the low-effor, easy money grab.

  2. Hopefully the announce the next model in the set. Hopefully a Alia, Axl, Vile, Sigma, Iris or something like that. They will probably announce a Black Zero at SOME point. I'd settle for a Zero hair version 2 add on (not the Nightmare hair set)... But I wouldn't be shocked if it's just another re-color of X...

My Zero finally came in. It's not bad. The original issues I had with the way the head looked went away after seeing it in real life. He didn't have as narrow a chin as the original art shown. His hair, though... It needs fixin. Some of the other issues the model has can be fixed with a little paint. It is a model, after all.

    1. I still don't understand why they left it flat and visibly hollow like that. Would it have been so hard to make it two hollow pieces that snap together to give it depth without adding too much weight?

    2. I know, right? They could of AT LEAST made it thin/light and not give it that hollow look. I mean, Bandai figured out how to do Zero's hair. Several times. The Mega Armor line had thin hair but wasn't hollow. The d arts line was a multi part system, though a bit heavy.

It's not just the hair being hollow. The hair tie is also a bit off putting. If you angle it right, it doesn't look too bad. But the way the ball joint looks is really weird and not very Zero...

Also, Zero's hair is just a touch too long.

    3. Huh, you're right - his hair is a wee bit too long.

I don't have the model kit so I don't know exactly what the hair parts look like from all angles. The hollow hair piece is the most obvious from promotional photos and it's frustrating how terrible it makes Zero for anything other than poses from behind.

    1. I'm personally not supporting this line of models anymore, but ... shadow armor would be an exception.

  4. I wouldn't mind getting all the versions of X.

we're at X4 now, so next armor is probably ultimate armor unless they go back and do X1 and X2 armors. I'm excited to get the gaea and shadow armors eventually.

I can see them doing a black zero and X1 zero too.

    1. I wondered if they would do Ultimate Armor next... It has four color options (not counting weapons) so re-paints are plentiful.

    2. Kotobukiya skips armors that are already out. Bandai have 1st Armor, 2nd Armor and Ultimate Armor. So we can see Kotobukiya starts the armors with 3rd Armor and then 4th Armor. Falcon is already done by Sentinel so we are not going to see it from Kotobukiya. Also, Bandai have Black Zero so Kotobukiya choose Nightmare Zero.

    3. There is absolutely no rule that says they are going to skip armors just because Bandai released one... They are releasing kits in order of what they want to do. That's all.
If we played that game, X and Zero wouldn't have been released AND the 3rd Armor and 4th Armor would have been skipped too since Bandai did that with the Mega Armor line back in the day.
The 2nd Armor never got a figure. It got a statue.
The figures are different scale with the models as well.
Whatever Koto does next is anyone's guess. It could be anything.

    4. yeah, if the hair were a 1/4 inch shorter that would be better. You have to angle it right so it doesn't exceed the length of Zero's feet...

  5. I honestly would'nt even mind if they just anonced another X armor, if it's one i don't already have.
I still hope they anounce a new character, though.

  6. Oh my god! More figures?! These are coming out faaaaaaast!

  7. My realistic wants are Axl and Vile mk2 and another armor for X. I'm expecting Black Zero as an easy recolor.

Since the show is also talking about DiVE, I'm scared they will do a RiCO kit. Many, many more kits need to be done before she gets one, but if there are several new kits alongside her, it'll ease the pain.

    1. I would imagine that Vile would be very feasible, as he would be easy to make recolor versions of.

and If they're talking about Dive, I'd think we'd be more likely to get a blue zero than RiCO. who knows? maybe they'll make alternate costume versions of characters, like Dr. Zero
