"Rockman Zero & ZX SOUND BOX" – New Details Announced & Cover Art

First teased during the Rockman Live 2020 concerts, Capcom has formally announced the "Rockman Zero & ZX SOUND BOX ". Check out all the new details after the break!

The Sound Box will be released on March 25th for 8,800 yen (around $80 or 71€). There will be a total of 208 tracks spread across 6 CDs containing the original source music (i.e uncompressed) from Rockman Zero 1 to 4 and Rockman ZX and Rockman ZX Advent. What's more, 9 new tracks will be included, which are said to be remixes created for the Rockman Zero & ZX Double Hero Collection. (Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection) Capcom didn't announce the track list today.

The box art for the set will be drawn by Zero series artist Toru Nakayama. You can see a sample of it above. It features (from left to right) Grey, Vent and Zero. Makoto Yabe (ZX series artist) will be drawing new illustrations for the individual CD cases as well. The box set will be released in "Digi Stack" format with a 16-page booklet.

Lastly, Amazon Japan will be selling the Sound Box with a special jacket. No images of said jacket exist for now, but you can pre-order it here.

  1. Not a bad Zero design, I like the way his vest is more armor than vest.

    1. I was waiting for New Mega Man art from Yabe for a while. I love Nakayama artstyle, but when i think of ZX, i think of Yabe's art. I just wanted a confirmation that Yabe working with Inti was still a option.

  3. Anyone know how to buy by e-capcom? Because from what I know they don't ship outside the country, I asked for my collector's edition of megaman zero for nin nin games.
Will Playasia put it up for sale too? I am very confused the truth xd

    1. If you are looking for a reliable store, try CD Japan. They carry all of these things, and if they don't you can always ask them to stock it.

And evil Amazon will have this CD in some form or fashion after release...

    2. I know that playaia and other stores separate things from e-capcom and are very reliable. My real question is whether they will get some units from this box since those stores prioritize the games that soundtracks, etc
But likewise thanks for your help :)
