Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 and 2 Coming to Nintendo Switch

Just announced on stream, Legacy Collection 1 and 2 are headed to Nintendo Switch in Spring 2018 with Amiibo support. It's unknown at the moment if both games will be sold together or individually.

More news soon!

  1. As much as I like Amiibo, if it means that I can't play something specific without the Switch, I'm not a fan. At least, Coop wasn't exclusive to the Wii U for Shovel Knight forever (I think).

    1. It does kind of suck to lock features behind consoles, but I think it's okay in Nintendo's case.

Would be great if this included Mega Man & Bass as well!

    2. It would be one thing if it was a bonus that literally only Nintendo could have like HD Rumble or perhaps a Capcom/Nintendo collaboration game which couldn't go anywhere else (see Minish Cap or Bionic Commando's GBC game), but if it is a mode like Co-Op or a whole game, we aren't gaining when it wouldn't have been hard to include those for all platforms.

    3. Agree, it would kind of suck if they locked a game behind one particular platform, but at least it would be a Nintendo platform in this case. Not to mention they don't necessarily have to lock & Bass behind Switch. Could well be released as an update/DLC on the other consoles.

  2. And I for one can't wait! I really hope they are physical Switch cards and not download only. :(

  3. A line of Megaman amiibo sounds intriguing. More so than those Resident Evil amiibo they were planning anyway.
Let's see a full set of MM1 robot masters, eh?
