Mega Man Mobile 1-6 Now Available on Android (Update: iOS Up)

All six classic NES Mega Man games are now available on Android and iOS. They'll set you back $1.99 a piece. Hit the jump below for download links!

Google Play Store:

Apple App Store:

I would like to note that, yes, the framerate runs slower than what you're accustom to. This was a deliberate choice, according to Capcom: "each game has been optimized for the mobile devices with adjustments to game speed."

You CAN adjust each game's speed... but not by much. Simply go to the Options menu (top left) and switch speed from Normal to High.

UPDATE: My suspicion that these are ports of the 2007 mobile ports has been validated:

Roll's MM1 ending sprite is directly from the 2007 version:

  1. I bought Mega Man 1 to test it out, 30 seconds in I applied for a refund. ALL of the frame rate issues are present and are absolutely REAL! DO.NOT.BUY.

    1. Holy shit, they didn't bother porting the legacy collection or even emulating the nes games!

This is based of those old flipphone ports, the ones where you can play as Roll.

If you look up videos of those games they have the exact same frame rate (15fps I think) and life bars.

    2. The ability to play as Roll (with charged shot, oddly enough) would be the sole reason I would ever be interested in buying Mega Man 1 Mobile. But somehow, I doubt that's in this version...

  2. Does Capcom has no shame? They think we'll consume everything Mega Man even if they are crappy ports? This doesn't even run at 15 fps! Stick to emulation on android guys these ports doesn't even deserve to be supported.

  3. Same here. Played mega man 1. Refunded. It wasn't unplayable, I beat bomb man. But it wasn't fun either, it's not smooth at all.

  4. The sad thing is that if these do not sell Capcom will see it as sign that people do not want more Megaman games......

  5. Really, how hard would it be to fish out the old Complete Works code and just build a port around that? Assuming Capcom still has it, that is.

  6. No it's okay you guys, clearly these ports are simply "not meant for us long time fans" and are good because they are going to get a "new audience interested in Mega Man" or something to that effect.

Capcom is going to continue to chase casual mobile fans away from the franchise with their terrible handling of the franchise on the platform.

But everyone should be used to Capcom mishandling the franchise by now.

    1. I agree with you, anon.
Nah, really, it could have actually been a good occasion to bring new players by targeting casual mobile fans. that's actually why i saw the idea of a rerelease on smartphone as a good idea. But it would have needed a top notch quality port, and they failed on that.
with this they're not going to please mobile player, they're not going to please long-time fans either.
i think they're not even expecting good sells, they just wanted to have the game availiaible one smartphone for the heck of it. like, considering how much investment must have been put on the port, it's not going to cost them a lot anyway so they do it.

    2. Dude, calm dowm. I was the one who posted "something to that effect", and it was weeks before the releases of the games, i did not knew that the ports would be low quality.
Sure i knew there was a risk, but i thought even capcom would not fail on this.
But here they're more likely don't even expect to make good sell (neither to fan or casual), so they did not put much effort in this, so they will not make good sell.
Very Smart Reasoning, Capcom, you deserve sarcastic slow clap.
I'm just as disapointed as you or any other fan here.

I apologize if that seemed like a direct attack. I did not intend for it to come across as one against you or anyone in particular. I didn't even know someone who posted here had said something to that effect, I had seen the idea posted elsewhere and was more trying to respond to the idea.

I simply said that because I have seen that said about basically everything Mega Man related Capcom has released since Xover, and was getting tired of it. Also because, after fans have spent the better part of a decade trying to support the franchise any way they can despite Capcom's mishandling of it, I can't help but wonder when Capcom is going to make something that IS for long time fans.

So again, I apologize, not meant as an attack on anyone, more of a snub at an idea and the way Capcom is handling it.

    4. anon2 here: yes, i know. I should not have took this personally.
Iwas quite upset after that release. and i agree with you. Capcom could have easely use the ocasion to make something good on mobile, but no, they're not even trying at this point.
      Sorry for having been rude.

  7. No thanks. I skip it. Capcom made a poorly decision to released it. Disappointment.

  8. Quick question that I'm sure had been answered several times by-now:
This is not the "new mobile game" Capcom promised in the future, right?

  9. The way I see it, Capcom is only testing to see how foolish people are that are willing to buy these mobile games, there is only 2 words to describe Capcom and that is ``money grabbers.``

    1. I don't think Capcom gives much a damn, the series has for the most part historically not sold well to sustain Capcom as a gigantic conglomerate.

So I think in there minds they do these things, fans cry and they just think meh we made some pennies on the side we never expected your crying asses to buy anything, but we duped somebody, oh you better believe we'll continue to dupe somebody into basically giving us free money on the side.

  10. Why didn't just they use the Rockman Mobile as the base and then copy over the English text and Logo so we can also have roll too?
