Kidrobot's Mega Man Figures Up For Pre-order

If your wallets still haven't given up with all the Mega Man merchandise coming out, you can now pre-order Kidrobot's Mega Man vinyl figures at MyPlasticHeart. These guys are expected to be available September 25th. Check it out:

The first wave of figures is all Mega Man 1 themed (Proto Man being the exception). If it does well enough, we've been told Kidrobot will look into adapting other games in the classic series. Anything beyond that, well, we'll just have to wait and see.

  1. So much happiness, so little cash.

It's by no means the line of Megaman 1-themed figures I'd like, but I'm not about to look a gift horse in the mouth. Especially if the final products look half as good as I expect.

If they can manage to get everybody from Megaman 1-3 (maybe 4), then it would make for the most awesome shelf display a Megaman fan could hope for.

  2. Those look adorable, but $228 and $114 for both sets is a little steep. Still, September 25th is a long way from now, so there's no hurry for me to preorder, unless they prove to be super popular and sell out before then. :O I really hope not.

  3. Maybe I missed this, but do we have any images of what the figures actually look like?

  5. I am the only one who would rather have had Time and Oil Man as figures rather than special weapon Mega Man?

  6. I'm really not feeling the painting. I've loved some of the designs that have been done with Munny figures in the past, but these... something's just off. Here are some pretty sweet ones:

  7. Hearing this was cancelled in the KR forum. :(

Called MPH to check on my pre-order and says the line is "on-hold" and is not likely to get made. As it's due to ship in a few weeks and we have seen no evidence of these existing outside of photoshop adverts, I'm believing what they say to be true.
