Xover Trailer Theme Gets the 8-Bit Treatment

COCOROG's Tarbo-san has whipped up a cool 8-bit style remix of the music from the Rockman Xover Tokyo Game Show trailer. Have a listen; it's quite snazzy.

Overall, I really like the sound of this tune. I just hope the rest of the game's soundtrack is new material. Fingers crossed!

  1. Slow it down, and it pretty much sounds like a sad tune.

I could wipe a short loop of that pretty easily, but it would be too damn depressing.

    Rockman Xover, baby.

  2. In b4 this is the only music in the game- that just plays over and over and over again.

Based on the level design, I wouldn't hold it past them.

  3. Sounds like something Inti Creates would whip up for "Rockman 11: The Penultimate Battle of Good and Evil!!"

  4. See? I told you so! I just knew it when this happened!

    This Rockman Xover still sucks!

Try again, Capcom. Don't be a troll because you troll us so harder!

What are you talking about? If you're saying that this 8-bit theme is official, it isn't.

Yes the game sucks, but it shouldn't be taken out on fan renditions of things.

  6. Short and catchy. Even if Xover were to completely and miserably fail, at least we got a catchy trailer theme out of it. haha

  7. Personally I want the whole game's soundtrack to be as terrible as everything else.
I just don't want to see good music wasted on this piece of crap :(

  8. First the 8-bit treatment, and then the silent treatment.

  9. There is already an SNES remix too. Check megacocorock's YouTube channel!

  10. Listening to it again, it definitely has a Guilty Gear/Daisuke Ishiwatari feel to it. Reminds me of Accent Core's opening.
