Bandai's D-Arts Zero Revealed

Having been teased by Bandai for a few months, the D-Arts Zero action has finally be revealed. Big Bad Toystore has scored an exclusive look at the upcoming figure, which is slated to release this September:

D-Arts Zero is modeled after his X1 incarnation, which features rounded shoulders and an emphasis on his Z-Buster. Official product description reveals a few more tidbits of interest:

"Following the popular D-Arts launch of Megaman X will be the popular Megaman Zero! Potraying Zero as he first appeared in the MegamanX game , fighting alongside X, this figure features superiour D-Arts articulation- even Zero's flowing hair is articulated! This high-tech figure set also includes a full array of accessories, including interchangeable facial expression, right-arm and hand parts, as well as blast effect parts! "

He's a little ways away from release, but X's impending May release should tide you over till then.

  1. Did they ever announce if these figures were coming Stateside? I remember hearing rumblings of this in the past and that's why I've held off on importing any of these or the Kotobikuya figures.

  6. Mmm...never have I see such an accurate and articulate portrayal in a mass produced Mega Man model/toy. Not since X's revealing of course as well as the Kotobukiya figures. The closest thing to this quality is the wonder festival figures and these are a lot like them. I simply cannot wait to get my hands on all these wonderful pieces. What a display we all will have! =D

  10. If I remember correctly Zero didn't have a saber in X1.

  11. @Anon #2: This is supposed to be Zero as he appears in X1. He didn't get the Z-Saber until X2. Wouldn't surprise me if they release an X2 or X3 version later on, though.

  12. That close-up of his face looks friggen' amazing. I continue to wonder about how (and hope that) these figures match up with the Kotobukiya model kits.

  13. lol @ "No Z-Saber?!?"

This figure is of how he was in X1. How many times did you see Zero use a saber in X1? Oh, right. He didn't get his Z-Saber until X2. Glad to see everyone knows everything about their beloved Zero.

Anyway, I'm glad they went with his X1 design. It looks the best, in my opinion. The round shoulders are awesome.

  15. AAAAAAGH!....This is an AMAZING-looking Zero action figure! And I don't mind at all that it's his original design. :)

Normally I'm not a figure buff, but I MUST get this as well as the X figure, too! Eeeeeeeeee!!! X3

  17. Just bought megaman. Detail is great, but the parts keep falling apart, and the hand wont even stay on. Seems like it ALMOST was good. I'm second guessing buying zero when he comes out now.

and for 40$... you would expect more.

  18. they should have shoulder and sword attachments. for the X1 and X2 and up zero. I like his square shoulder pads better, but it leaves hardly any room for movement.I'm the could make a special edition black zero would be bad ass. Zero has always been a mighty character, I can't wait to get it. Question is, Is it durable?

  19. He comes w/ hands molded to hold something..... Z saber anyone, by no saber. Probably saving it for the next Zero figure, just to make sure you buy it.

    Figure IS really awesome though!!
