The Life of Wily, In Between Games

Ever wonder what Dr. Wily does to pass the time in between Mega Man games? You know, when he's not in jail? YouTuber jaroshbarksdale answers that question with a collection of Dr. Wily centric mini-games created in Wario Ware D.I.Y.  Nine in total, the bite sized games have Wily performing minuscule everyday tasks from testing out traps and fueling up his flying saucer, to trimming those bushy eyebrows. Weird stuff, but highly entertaining:

It took Jaroshbarksdale roughly three months and a hundred hours total to design the games and it really shows. Excellent work!

A lot of neat Mega Man-themed games have come about thanks to Wario Ware D.I.Y, so I suggest you check those out on YouTube, too. Perhaps one day I'll compile a whole bunch in one mega sized post...

  3. I just love how they saved the best for last: Kill Mega Man. Although Mega Man was defeated in that last mini-game, Wily isn't free to conquer the world just yet. He needs to get Proto Man, Bass, and Duo out of the picture, as well.

  5. lulz. They are awesome. Bee Wily, Wily Mart with Mario and Kirby enemies, Dr. Light's dumpster claw, block harvest, shaver Cut Man, jumping through the shutter and Wily testing his own traps!

But if Wily can survive his own traps, the same can be expected from Mega Man, meaning Wily is not that good at creating traps...

  7. And then next time someone makes a series of Dr.Light games in WW D.I.Y. you're going to post them. >_>

Anyway, these games are pretty good. I like the spike drop one. Heheh. :)

  9. Random side note - I noticed Capcom just dropped the Megaman Kubricks 10%, so I guess they weren't selling nearly as well as they'd hoped. I hope to God they don't point to this and be like "see, we brought these over to America and no one is buying them. So we're not gonna bring any other Megaman stuff over" These dang kubricks have got to be the most overpriced item in the store. Are they not just little 2" figures? $40 each? Give me a break....I'm a little tired of this attitude that fans have to earn things, feeling guilty if I don't buy something because I'm afraid it's going to cause something else to not be brought to the US.

  10. I think the first post said it best. They are all very brilliant. Especially the Wily Mart game and the strange Eyebrows game (that fits right in with Warioware's other insane games.) Might as well make some more and call the entire set WilyWare! =D
