Mega Man 4 Rated By OFLC (Update)

Australia's Classification Board, the OFLC, has recently listed a rating for Mega Man 4, suggesting that a Virtual Console release outside of Japan release isn't too far off.

Rockman 4 is hitting the Japanese VC sometime this month February 9th for 500 Nintendo Points.

  1. My guess it's that they're going to release Mega Man 4 a week before Mega Man 10's release date, just as they've done with Mega Man 2, which was released a week before Mega Man 9. But again, this is just a guess.

  2. Again, I hope they don't stop there and get 5 and 6 on the VC soon too.

  3. YES!!! I am going to get it. I have Megaman 1-3 and Rockman 1-3 VC. :)

  4. Didn't they have a countdown of classic releases leading up to Mega Man 9's release? I thought I remembered Mega Man 1, 2, and 3 coming out a few weeks apart leading up to Mega Man 9. If so, we'll probably see Mega Man 4, 5, and 6 leading up to Mega Man 10's release.

Unless I'm just remembering wrong. :P

  5. I believe you're right about Megaman 1 and 2's VC release, MaverickHunterAsh, but I think 3 was released on the VC a few months after 9.

  6. I hope they keep going and release Mega Man 5 and 6 as well. Heck, maybe even 7. But most especially, I'd really love them to release Mega Man & Bass. The Game Boy Advance port doesn't really do it justice.

  7. The date is wrong. According to Japan's capcom said Feb 9 2010.

The OFLC date indicates when this rating was added to their database; not when the game is coming out.

No news on that front yet.
