Rockman And Blues Kubrick Figures Revealed

Looks like Rockman and Blues are getting the Kubrick treatment. CapKobun reports that toy manufacturer Medicom plans on releasing 7cm Kubrick renditions of the blue bomber and the red rocker in February of 2010 for ¥2,940 (approx. $32 USD)

The figures come with interchangeable heads, facial expressions and removable Busters. As a bonus, each figure comes with a their own translucent Be@rbrick. Cute!

Hopefully, we'll see these guys pop up on import shops in the near future!

  4. Uhh... okay, so I didn't like. Am I the only one to say "too bad, they look deformed"?

  5. I always thought that a Kewpie figure featuring Rockman would come out before a Kubrick figure. Price is kinda steep for these though, I got a Terminator and Spider-man Kubrick figure and some others that came with tea for 147 yen a piece... meaning the tea is what I bought and the figure was just a bonus to get people to buy tea. Still, Blues has got he Buster, Shield and Breakman Facemask, which is pretty cool...

  6. These are pretty cool, and very LEGO-like. It would be awesome if they made some more of these, and one day they made some kind of LEGO playset or something.

I'm also digging the Breakman head for Blues - it's got an awesomely retro feel to it!

  7. Why does protoman have one dot in the middle for an eye?

  9. Oh, please don't refer to them as LEGO-like! They're their own series of figurines, and they're called Kubricks.
They're made for adult collectors, and are produced by the Japanese toy company Medicom.
