English Voices For Star Force 3

Contrary to reports, the small snippets of voice acting will remain intact for Mega Man Star Force 3, dubbed entirely in english. Listen for yourself:

  1. MY EARSSSS! T^T If his voice went up at black end galaxy to make it more spectacular, maybe it wouldn't be that bad. same when he finalized. :/

  2. Doesn't matter. A plus for Capcom for adding dub voices.

  3. Im glad they had it dubbed, although the voice isnt the same, they could have used the guy who did it in the anime dub, but ahh well, greast stuff!

  4. Sounds more reasonable than the double team ds dub but could use some more work, like instead of just sounding like their reading a line or something, to put more effort in to the voice acting. When he used BEG, it sounded like he was just reading a line without putting any real vocal effort, compared to the japanese voices, the japanese voices are much better because they actually put some effort into the voice acting.

  5. MMXU, could you have possibly meant that ANY voice acting is better when they put effort into it? It's unfair to say that there aren't ANY good english voice actors, because there definately are.

  8. @BassDX really? wow sound alot different, but i guess it still sounds great, i just wonder if they will have the other voice artists doing the other characters like in the japanese version (Omega Xis and A.C Eos

  9. I loathe people who always say "japanese is better oh-em-geeze!" Do you speak fluent japanese? Can you distinguish the minute qualities that make voice acting good or bad? PROBABLY NOT.
Regardless of that, I say yay for making the effort to dub this! =)

  10. No, it's just, compared to the japanese lines of the game, though engrishy, sounded much better than the english voices although im no purist, the english voice could of done better than"finalize" compared to "Finalize!" You know what I mean? No, Im not hating english dubs, I prefer to watch things dubbed than subbed. Megaman and pokemon are such things.

  11. If they actually used the voices from the dubbed anime I will be very very impressed. Chances are though, they are the awful voice actors Capcom hired for projects they don't care about, i.e. MegaMan X7 and Megaman ZX Advent.

  12. @Ginrei:
I can. I know the Japanese voice actors are professinals who base their careers off sounding good for the characters also. I can't say I know who is doing the English voices, but also undertanding English, I feel the voice could be done better.

Also, in the general sense, almost any creation will be better in its original form. The people who created it know what they wanted in the characters.

I too watch dubbed stuff sometimes. Recently I watch Lost dubbed in Japanese on TV. They also have it in original English at a later time, less convenient for me to watch though. Althgouh having got used to Sigma as Locke, now when I see it in English it feels weird despite the actors having their real voices.

  13. It's great! It just keeps getting better and better. Now just a DS Demo and merchandise will be icing on the cake!

  14. I wonder if they only did the finalized transformation voices. I would like to hear if the voices are added in wifi battles and Multi-Noise transformations.

  16. Yes, I can tell the difference. Sure, it's still hokey in Japanese, but there is a clear difference. It's not just assuming that all Japanese people are better voice actors than English speakers, as some of you seem to think we're implying. It's just that they never get good ones for the dubs. These are, of course, budget projects though, so they can only get what they can afford.
