Tatsunoko vs. Capcom Coming To North America

Regardless of the licensing issues Capcom has long touted, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom is, believe it or not, coming stateside according to the latest issue of Nintendo Power:
For the uninformed, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom is the latest title in the long running "vs." series, pitting famous Capcom characters against Tatsunoko properties such as Yatterman and Casshern.

Why does this matter to do you? Mega Man Volnutt and classic series Roll are playable characters. 'Nuff said

More news as it comes in.

  5. REALLY?! Dang, that's like the happiest Capcom has made me all year! I swear, they give the extremely obvious "vs" release and then blindside us with this one. It's brilliant. XD

    HELL YES.
I have always wanted to play this game, but i couldn't, due to a lack of import shops around my area. Now I can.

Thank you Capcom, thank you for giving me one more reason to keep my Wii.

  9. I have checked through all of the issues from January to June 2009 that I have recieved through my subscription and their is nothing about TvC in them.

Unless it is the July 09 issue which would make sense since on the preview page it talks about the cover story Being the new KH game for the DS but then it says.

"We'll also reveal a couple of "cool Wii surprises" and review big-name games like The Conduit and Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings-all in just 30 short days!"

So its more than likely in the Kingdom Hearts issue next month.... at least I hope.

  12. Now is the time for me to laugh maniacally at all the people who sweared it wouldn't come. I don't normally gloat, but these people were particularly bull-headed, condescending, and generally ass-y about it.

    Called it.

  14. Heh, I wasn't extremely interested in this game, but I'm really happy to see such a difficult game to license released in the US. Maybe some OTHER companies can learn from this.
