That's a Lot of MegaMan 64s

Here's a fun ebay auction: For a whopping $999.99, you can own six--count them--six sealed copies of MegaMan 64 (aka MegaMan Legends N64 port).

A single sealed copy of MM64 is one thing, but six? Sheesh. Best part is, the games come in their original factory box, so most likely, they've come from Capcom's shipping vendors. Seems like an auction serious (and rich) MM collectors might want to check out.

  2. Wow, that is very cool but I prefer Japanese version because of Megaman 64 title sound ridiculous to me. Since, they decide to change the Japanese title tradition to Megaman 64 (why not Megaman legends??) according to Rockman Dash following from PSX to N64 remains the same title which I liked. The Capcom of USA doesn't created this game and I think they had no rights therefore Capcom of USA was very strange business and I never really liked Capcom of USA very much since they are not friendly environment to my opinion unlike the Capcom of Japan I always knew.

  3. Whoa, Anon2... where are you coming up with those accusations? Capcom of America isn't a friendly environment and they had no rights? They are the same company, so they had the rights. XD

I don't think these pieces of plastic, PCB, and cardboard are worth that much. It's kind of unnecessary and I would think the value is in the playing of the game, not the owning of 20 of them. :P Eh, whatever floats the winner's boat.

  4. LOL! Actually, I don't think so but The Capcom of USA changed the name Megaman Legends in PSX version to Nintendo 64 as Megaman 64 anyway. It doesn't sound right to me at all. I liked the Capcom of JAPAN because they had PSX version and N64 version of the same title unchange. :)

I dont think they are the same company because the Capcom of USA dont bring some games over which Capcom of JAPAN had available. I dont like CAPCOM of USA very much. They dont bring some games I really liked so I had to import the game that I don't speak Japanese.

  5. A sealed MegaMan game is priceless to me. A sealed Rockman game is much better, but I never did see any copy. :)

Short answer - I would buy those 6 sealed carts. :)

  6. Way overpriced. I bought a sealed copy at a used game store for less than $10.

  7. Yeah, I've seen sealed copies of these go for nothing many times.

  8. Well, Capcom of USA's purpose is primarily to sell Capcom Japan's games in the US. It is a Japan-based company after all. Capcom USA essentially IS the same company, just bringing in more income from the same games. (They do make some games here, but they are fewer in between) The only thing you're going on here is the name change. Sure, it seems dumb to change the name to Megaman 64, but that's no reason to call Capcom USA stupid.

  9. Yeah, Capcom of USA is still stupid anyway. I am sorry but that's the truth. I just dont like Capcom of USA, period.

  10. Ok... that makes no sense whatsoever. It's just stupid, huh? No reasoning. Alright, well that's completely logical and acceptable, I'm sure we all agree now. :P

  11. @Anon who hates Capcom USA: So you hate Capcom? You agreed with the statement that Capcom USA is just a branch of Capcom Japan and that they are essentially the same company.

That means you hate capcom. Nice reasoning there.

  12. Interesting auction, but I wouldn't pay almost $167.00 for a sealed copy of MM64. Legends was a good game, but still...Plus, I certainly don't need six copies of the game, regardless of where it came from! Still, nice find, Proto!
