Get Equipped With Famitsu Scans

The latest issue of Famitsu contains a small blurb on Rockman 9 with a few new screen shots, one in particular depicts a "black and white" Rockman(A Robot Master weapon perhaps?)

RM9 will be released in Japan September-ish under the title, "Rockman 9: Revival of the Wild Ambition!!"

It should be noted that this Famitsu report marks the first time Rm9 has received coverage outside of the US.

  1. Odd that it's just now showed up there... Why is it being released in Japan first, if all the "evidence" we've seen indicates it was developed in the US? Of course, our first evidence was from Australia... O_o Maybe they're making it in space and sending news evenly to all countries. XD

  3. It looks like that even the drawn artstyle of Mega Man himself looks like the classic drawn original Inafune style Rockman, if you look at the pic of him standing.

I'm glad they used the retro artstyle and not the usual Zero/ZX series artsyle that Inti Creates usually uses. Not against the Zero/ZX artstyle, but it doesn't fit the retro 80s/90s style classic Rockman.

  4. The black Megaman is most likely one of the reported Megaman shadow clones that are fought in one of the stages.
